Description

This black and white photograph shows the scene looking north on South Tryon Street between Third Street and Fourth Street some time during the period between 1902 and 1911. On the left of the photograph can be seen the new Trust Building and two doors down from this the Y.M.C.A. with its distinctive turrets. Opposite the Y.M.C.A. is the old Opera House, which had a wide front gable and tripple window on the second story.
