View of Tryon Street, Charlotte NC, showing the Realty Building on the Square and "Granite Row" in the foreground. This was a row of five three story buildings built in 1850-1851 in the first block of South Tryon and formed one of Charlotte's early business districts. Across the road on Tryon Street was the Central Hotel. During the 1850's the hotel and this row of buildings were owned by entrepreneur William Treloar.
