Description

Black and white photograph of Charlotte's Armory Auditorium located on Kings Drive near Central High School. The auditorium was built in 1929 and opened in time for the Annual Confederate Reunion held here in early June. From this time until 1954 when it burned down it served as Charlotte's only city auditorium, despite its drawbacks.
